I am a Master of Engineering graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research focusing on data science, its applications, and the optimization of complex systems.
I graduated with honours, receiving a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering (with a Biomechanics option) from the University of Waterloo in 2013.
After graduating, I began my professional career at a FTSE 100 company in a 3-year international rotational engineering and leadership program. I gained professional engineering experience in advanced manufacturing and operations-based roles. I worked as a project engineer at a gold & silver refinery, a manufacturing engineer at a Nitinol medical products facility, and an operational excellence engineer on a group-level team. After working professionally for 3 years, I elected to pursue graduate studies to complement my established mechanical engineering skill set.
I am a Professional Engineer licensed through Professional Engineers Ontario, Canada.
In my personal time I am a dedicated brazilian jiu jitsu athlete, an amateur photographer, graphic designer, and writer.
